LENNOX HEAD

Get distracted in Lennox Heads. Everything you could wish for in one colourful coastal town.

Ocean Road - Great views of town from Pat Morton Lookout

About 10 minutes off the highway via Ross Lane. Coming from Ballina, it's about 10 minutes up the coast road with a great lookout as you come over the top of the hill. You won't be disappointed by Lennox Heads. A small but lively town with a laid back atmosphere and a stunning stretch of beautiful beach. Good for shopping, eats and drinks and all just a few steps to the grassy ocean foreshores and access to the beach. There's plenty of options for picnics, walks, getting down on the sand and into the surf.

Lennox is a surfers delight but if you prefer to hang out or play on the still water, the tea tree coloured Lake Ainsworth is at the North of town. A great place for picnicking, paddle boarding and kayaking. This is also where you can access (at the northern end) the designated dog walking beach. If there at the right time, you can pick up treats and fresh produce at the Lennox Markets or you might catch one of the surfing comps or festivals Lennox community proudly host. And yes, you can fill up with fuel. When you are done, if you haven't been tempted to stay and are heading south, take the coast road via Ballina back to the highway - it's a picturesque drive and won't add much on to your trip - unless of course you get distracted along the way - easy to do.

Lennox Heads - Picturesque, panoramic, pristine, and a perfect beach lovers playground. Definitely a 'Take a Break - Must do'. Wanna see more? Check out the links below.
