Sunshine Bay Headland, Beach Road - A nature loving explorers delight

About 10 minutes from the highway passing through Batemans Bay or 15 - 20 minutes from the south via Tomakin and Dunns Creek Road. Batehaven boasts a beautiful (long) beach framed by naturally dramatic headlands and dotted with rocky shorelines. A great shoreline to explore. There's plenty of room to take a stroll, play on the sand, take a dip or throw in a line. It's a great spot to paddleboard or if you like a bit more power, take out a jetski. It is unpatrolled but mostly sheltered from the wild swells. Want to picnic or light up the barbie? There's plenty of spots in Corrigan's reserve, on the edge of the beach which also boasts a great playground for the kiddies. Need to get some supplies, fill up with fuel or feel like a good coffee and piece of cake? There's a small 'village like' shopping centre with some great options and friendly service on the main drag, not far from the beach. If you need more services head down the road to Batemans Bay. Want to let your dog have a run? There is designated 'timeshare spots'. Check out the link below and keep an eye out for local signage. Enjoy getting distracted in Batehaven!
