Well worth the 15 minute drive off the Highway via Jervis Bay and Huskisson Road if coming from the north or via Hawken and Pine Forest Road in the south. If you decide to head in via St George's Basin in the south, just add a few more minutes onto your trip. Huskisson offers a superb array of things to do by or on the pristine Jervis Bay. There's plenty of spots to picnic, paddle and play. A perfect place to get out and get active, especially if you are into watersports of any kind, bike riding or taking long walks. There's plenty of options for eats and treats nestled in the heart of town. Great spots to just chill out and watch the world go by and hear the calming seaside sounds that the bay community brings. Rocky foreshores and white sandy beaches that line the edges of town are top spots to explore. If you feel like getting out on the bay where the dolphins and other sea-life play there's plenty of tours on offer too. A great thing to do if you are there between May and November when the whales are doing their thing. If you need to pick up some goodies for the trip or need to fill up with fuel, there's some basic stuff here in Huskisson, and a little bit more just 5 minutes to the South in Vincentia.
