About 5 - 10 minutes off the highway via Merimbula Drive. Looking to get active, do some shopping or simply just relax in magical surroundings? Merimbula has it all. Pathways that wind forever around the Merimbula Lake out to the bay. A beautiful surf beach where you can enjoy a stroll, take a dip or ride the waves. Plenty of places to picnic, just relax in the quiet, throw in a line or take your boat for a spin. Lots of options to pick up some groceries, fresh produce, seafood and local wine. Browse the art galleries, specialty shops and book stores.Take care of business, visit a doctor, take the pooch to a vet, get the car fixed or just chill in a colourful café. There's a few attractions to choose from too, including Magic Mountain and the Aquarium and Wharf. If you are there in November, catch the wind and kitesurfing festival and if there at the right time you might be lucky to spot whales passing by.
