JERVIS BAY, Huskisson Beaches

Get distracted on Huskisson Beaches. A watersporters paradise with stunning stretches of pure white sand framing the pristine bay.

On the edge of the magical Jervis Bay

About 15 minutes off the highway from the north to Shark Net Beach and almost the same from the south via Vincentia to Moona Moona Creek. The Huskisson beaches like all of those on Jervis Bay are absolutely stunning and perfect for any type of watersports. There's lots of options for where you can swim, kayak, paddleboard, boogie board, fish, snorkel, kitesurf, take the boat for a spin etc. Usually calm and crystal clear waters means it's great for beginners new to any sport and a superb spot for littlies to have a dip. You can walk for miles on the sand and there's lots of small rocky outcrops to be explored. The panoramic views from each beach are only interrupted by boats passing by, people playing in and on the water, birds flying past or hanging about on the shores and sometimes dolphins frolicking in the small waves and whales breaching in the distance. Want to picnic or relax under the shade of a tree? You can do that too in the parks overlooking the bay. This is where you will find public amenities. It's also a great place to ride a bike being mostly on the paths and streets that wind around the beaches. If it's shops or services you are looking for, there's a small range in Huskisson town and Vincentia just up the road. You will pass through these coming in. You can also get fuel at the Vincentia (south) end. There are some spots you can walk your dog - check out the link below. Although it can get busy especially on weekends there's plenty of room for everyone so you don't have to fight the crowds. Huskisson beaches will delight and titillate your senses - a perfect spot to rejuvenate. If you are on a time limit though, keep an eye on the clock - it's very easy to get totally distracted.
