Get distracted in Taree. An appealing inland town that oozes with coutry pride and lots to offer for passers by.
Only 5 - 10 minutes into town from the highway rest stop coming from the south and about 15 minutes from Cundletown if coming from the North. A pleasant drive through an urban rural setting with a nice surprise when you hit town. A great place to do a relaxing shop in a friendly environment, visit a gallery, or tap into some services. You should be able to meet most of your needs. Parks, picnic spots and pathways line the river just in behind town - perfect to stretch your legs, ride your bike, walk the dog, throw in a line, sit or play by the river or just kick back in a cool little café. There's lots of options to choose from.
