Get distracted in Valla Beach. No need to fight the crowds.
Only 5 minutes from the highway via Valla Beach Road. There's a couple of options for where to stop. If you are after coffee or something to eat, best to stay on Valla Beach Road. If you want to let the dog have a run on the beach - do the same and head down to North Valla Beach. If you're after somewhere where you can, stretch your legs, explore the waterways, surf, paddle, picnic or play and enjoy the tranquility of limited man-made interruptions to the natural surrounds, head down Ocean View Drive to the Deep Creek Footbridge. It's only a minute down the road. Want to walk your dog? There's a link below that explains where to go - off or on leash. Valla Beach is a great place to stop if you like to be close to nature, hear the birds singing, watch the wildlife and avoid the crowds and bus-y-ness of the bigger towns. If you're there on the first Saturday of the month, you might catch the local markets.
