You don't have to go far to enjoy Batemans Bay. Within seconds of turning off the highway you'll be exploring this vibrant seaside village. Town is nestled on the edge of the Clyde River, where you can take your boat for a spin, go for a kayak, paddleboard, throw in a line, have a picnic, go for a walk, ride your bike or simply just relax. If you have time, take a stroll along the Mara Mia Walkway at the start of town just off Clyde Street and Beach Road. It's dotted with barbies, picnic spots, restaurants,cafes shops and services. Public amenities are at your fingertips. Need some groceries, fuel or basic services, you'll find them here. Stroll a little further past the centre of town and you will find grassy banks, rocky foreshores and small sandy patches where you can paddle, play, picnic, explore or relax. Keep your eye out for dolphins while you are there. If you want to walk your dog, it will need to be on a leash - just check the signs.
