Get distracted in Bodalla. A vibrant little village sitting right on the highway.
Bodalla is a great spot to stop especially if you don't want to leave the main drag. There's a small strip of shops, where you can get some yummy edible treats for the 'now' or to take on the road. In between there's other cool stuff to buy as a reminder of your visit or to get you into south coast mode and bring out your happy hippie. Of course, being in the central dairy district, you can pick up some locally made cheese or alternatively chill in one of the main street cafe's/restaurants that boast locally made savoury snacks and sweets. Although the main part of town is on the highway, you can still relax. It's the sort of place that makes you wind down - it's quite laid back and there's plenty of parking at the north end of the street or along the small side street that runs between the shops and the highway. If you'd rather picnic, there's a local park at the south end of town. Amenities are here and dotted around the main street. Bodalla is a welcoming and colourful town that's sprinkled with lots of rural charm. Want to know more? See the link below.
