BROADWATER
Get distracted in Broadwater. It's on the highway so is perfect for a quick refreshment stop. (That is until the bypass goes in)
If you don't have much time but need to eat, Broadwater is a great place to stop. There's a couple of cafe's that serve up great food and coffee. Both are in relaxed surrounds but have totally different vibes. Check them out if not planning on diverting from the highway - a great alternative to the refreshments you get at highway fuel stops. On that note - if you do need fuel you can get it just down/up the road - at Woodburn in the south and Ballina in the north. If you are planning on heading to Evans Head on the coast (a 10 -15 minute drive), you can get there from here - just follow the signs.
