Get distracted on Hyams Beach. It's quiet. It's magical. It's refreshing.
A bit of a drive off the highway - about 20 minutes from both north and south but If you have the time to drop in you won't be disappointed. The quickest route is to head down Island Point Road via Georges Basin unless you also want to check out the northern end of Jervis Bay. Don't expect to shop till you drop or find lots of options for eats and drinks but it's a perfect spot if you are up for a dip, a kayak paddle, an easy stroll around a small seaside town or a picnic, barbie or relax in a park overlooking pristine waterways lined with sparkling white sands. It's right on the edge of the Booderee National Park so there's plenty more to explore if you have time. If you need fuel or supplies stop off in Georges Basin on the way in or Vincentia is close by. Want to walk your pooch? Check the signs.
