Coming from the highway in the south and through town will take about 15 minutes. Coming from the north, say Lennox Heads, it will take about 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the scenic Coast Road.
There's lots of spots to stop and do whatever takes your fancy along this superb piece of coast.
A range of beaches sit only minutes apart and all offer great walking,swimming and watersport spots, places to picnic and best of all great views that are often sprinkled with dolphins, whales and birdlife feeding and playing.
A shared walking and cycleway takes you along most of the east Ballina coast with the occasional temptation to stop for a coffee or a feed.
