Get distracted in Honeymoon Bay. Only small, a little rustic but a magical place.
A 20 minute drive through rural surrounds via Forest and Currarong Road just south of Nowra. If you head out along Point Perpendicular Lighthouse road you will reach this little piece of paradise hidden way on the edge of Beecroft Peninsula, near Currarong. Surrounded by national park it's a perfect place to kayak, paddle, play, picnic, have a barbie, take a stroll, explore the shores of Jervis Bay, snorkel, throw in a line or just chill and take in the sounds of the natural surrounds. The facilities are very basic and you will need to take your own water and refreshments but you won't be let down by the perfect surrounds. Don't expect to see shops or fuel but there's a number of surrounding towns where you can stock up before you go in. If you decide to stay it's a great place to camp. Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
