Get distracted at Fitzroy Falls. Crisp, clean air and a comfortable walk to uninterrupted views.
It will take about 45 - 50 minutes from both Bombaderry in the south and Albion Park in the north. To get to the falls you will need to drive to the top of the mountain (Southern Highlands). It's a comfy drive, but sometimes steep and has a few sharp bends. If you like to walk especially in untouched natural surrounds it's a great place to take a break. There's a few different walking tracks so you can take your pick. To see the views or just hang out where the water flows through it's not that far. Don't forget to just 'stop' and listen to the sounds and take in the scents of the surrounds. Need to fill up? You can get fuel but given the drive probably best to fill up before you head up the hill. Want to take the pooch for a walk? Fitzroy Falls is in a national park so unfortunately pets are not allowed. Feel like a coffee or a feed? You can grab a bite close to the falls but if you have more time time - Kangaroo Valley Village is just down the road (south) - about 15 minutes and has more options. Fitzroy Falls certainly offers a refreshing way to take a break.
