Get distracted in North Narooma. A pristine and picturesque place with plenty of spots to picnic, paddle or play.
Just off the highway on the north side of the Narooma bridge, it all starts on Centenary Drive. If you want to get out closer to the sea, it's just a few minutes more around the waters edge. Coming from the north, you can also duck into Kianga and then head south. This route will take about 10 minutes. Although North Narooma is a popular spot there's plenty of room to go around. If you want to stretch your legs, ride your bike or take the pooch for a walk, there's a superb shared cycle/walk way that winds around Mill bay and Wagonga Inlet. If you are really keen, you can walk lots more. The pathways continue on from North Narooma to Dalmeny, further north. A perfect way to enjoy this coastline. The pristine water in sheltered bays around Bar Beach (South) and the breakwalls here are perfect safe spots to cool off, paddleboard, kayak, snorkel, fish or just relax and enjoy. If you would prefer to surf, it's also close by but is unpatrolled so don't take risks. There's no shops here so stock up on refreshments before you stop. Town is not that far away - just south of the bridge so if you do need to pick up some goodies or need groceries, fuel or specific services you can get to them easily. You can let your pooch have a run on parts of Bar Beach. See the link below. North Narooma is a little gem. It's packed with all sorts of water lovers delights.
