Get distracted in Kianga. Turn a mundane highway drive into a magical coastal treat without adding much time to your trip.
This delightful coastal playground is only a few minutes off the highway just north of Narooma via Kianga Road. If coming in Via Dalmeny in the north it's a 5 - 10 minute 'very scenic' drive along Dalmeny Drive. It's also a great alternative to the highway route and will only add minutes to your trip - unless of course once you get there you find it hard to leave. Easy to do. The natural surrounds entice you in and the time slips away. The biggest attraction is all natural and provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The coastline views are spectacular. The beaches pristine. The foreshore parks perfectly maintained. And the shared walkways that wind around the highs and lows of the natural landscape between Narooma and Dalmeny provide plenty of room to move around without fighting the crowds. If you plan to picnic, take your own tucker, there's only one shop - come café. If you plan to exert some energy make sure you have refreshments on hand. It's an easy place to lose track of the distance you've travelled so you might get thirsty. You can pick up supplies, fill up with fuel or access most services just to the south in Narooma. Want to cool off in the surf, let your dog have a run or want to know more about Kianga?
