Get distracted in Morpeth. A vibrant little town full of character and treats.
About 20 minutes from the highway via Raymond Terrace in the north and 30 - 40 minutes via Maitland in the south you will find this little gem.
If you have the time to take a break here you won't be let down. There's some quaint little picnic spots and parks in and around town, and a main street that's loaded with boutique type stores and trendy little cafes.
If you feel like a longer walk it's a great place to go for a wander a bit further afar. Want to walk your dog? People have been seen walking their dogs in the main street (on a leash) and there's plenty of other spots to stretch their legs - just check with the locals.
Gotta love Morpeth - It's quiet, laid back with a life of it's own and the people are friendly.
