Get distracted in Bulahdelah. A great little pittstop not far off the highway.
Within minutes of leaving the highway from the north or south you can be refreshing and reviving on the banks of the Myall river.
Parks on both sides of the river have beautiful settings to:
- Pull out the picnic
- Stretch your legs
- Launch the boat, kayak or canoe
- Throw in a line
- Just chill out and enjoy the natural surrounds
Your dog can stretch his/her legs on the south side of the river in the free camping and rest area.
Looking to have a pub, club or café feed? Enjoy a variety of options and friendly service in the laid back town on the north side of the river.
If you are after a healthy option - Oliver's is now on the edge of town, you can't miss it.
Need to pick up some goodies for the rest of your trip? There's a supermarket, bakery, newsagent, hardware and chemist. Need to fill up with fuel? You can do that too. Looking for specific service? You will find the basics here.
If you visit in November you are in for a treat at the Rock Rattle 'n' Roll festival.
Bulahdelah is also the gateway to a bunch of cool spots if you like to hike or get close to nature, like national parks, reserves and state forests. Check out the links below.
