Get distracted in Laurieton. A water lovers treat.
Laurieton is the gateway to an amazing array of waterways. Coming from the north or south via Ocean road (adjacent to the Kew turn off on the highway) it takes about 15 - 20 minutes. If you are coming in from Port Macquarie add another 10 or 15 minutes. A great place to explore, get superb views of the coast for miles, fish, canoe, stretch your legs, let the kids play or walk your dog (check out the link below). A great place to take the boat for a spin or picnic at any one of the many spots along the riverbanks. While you're there indulge in fresh seafood, and if you need to pick up supplies, access services or get vehicle repairs there's lots of options.
